Barracuda's 2025 Summer Internship is reserved for students currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and does not require work authorization, now or in the future. This role is hybrid based out of Barracuda's Campbell, CA office, required days Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

We are seeking a driven, eager to learn HR Operations Intern to join our Americas HR Operations Team. As an HR Operations Intern, you will help us with all aspects of the employee experience, from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between! We want someone who is a self-starter and passionate about customer service, and excited to learn something new.
What you'll be working on
- Partner with our HR Operations Team during the on-boarding process including processing onboarding documents, and new hire welcome kits
- Assist with Offboarding, including exit interview and exit documents
- Scan and file historical employment records, as well as prepare them for offsite storage
- Update our HCM by archiving and transferring data and documents
- Process verifications of employment
- Work with the HR Team on projects, as needed
- Assist in organizing company events
- Gain understanding of all areas of HR by attending meetings/collaborating with broader HR team
What you bring to the role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge or experience with HR Operations and Labor Legislation
- Self-starter and not afraid of taking the initiative.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters
- Effective communication skills, oral and written
- Strong attention to detail
- Possess the ability to manage multiple projects
- Team player
- Familiarity with HRIS Software (especially Workday) is a plus
Education and Experience:
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- Prior experience working in an office environment
- Experience in customer service or customer facing roles

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $22.00 - $33.00 per hour in Campbell, CA. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's education level, job type, and applicable employment laws.
